Canon Background:
Grimmjow is from the Bleach manga series. He is one of the Arrancar, a group of dead ghosts who succumbed to corruption and turned into Hollows that were later augmented and changed further to have insanely awesome battle skills. He is one of the recently-emerged antagonists, and there is only a small amount of backstory known about him at this time. He is prone to picking fights with strong people, though they also tend to be cut short due to outside influences, and he prefers to operate alone. Or, at least, his concept of teamwork is where everyone else does what he says and then he's just fine with the notion. He is also noted as being a very powerful and skilled fighter, and his yet-untested strengths rely greatly on speed and brute force.
AU Version:
Grimmjow is a first year student at AU with a double major in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. He is attending on a lacrosse scholarship, partially because he would not have gotten into AU otherwise, for his grades. Those who find his choice of major to be the object of ridicule are likely to end up finding out why he was lacrosse team captain - and the single member of his high school team who scored more fouls in the season than the rest of the team, combined. He grew up a military brat, moving place to place, but did attend only one high school in Hueco Mundo, TX, before graduating. His parents (or more specifically, his father) gave him the option of enlisting or going to college afterwards; Grimmjow chose the latter option, and the unlikely major as well.
He is in Bradley 313, and his roommate is Tim.
Appearance:
Grimmjow is tall and fairly muscled as opposed to the typical lanky teenager build thanks to his high school spent playing high contact sports. He is a natural blonde, but he frequently dyes his short-cut hair a variety of colors. Most often, and currently, it is somewhere in the teal to blue range. He has no piercings, but he does already have a couple of tattoos - most notably the number '6' on his lower back - and even a few scars. His fashion sense tends toward the casual - old jeans worn through at the knees, plain crew neck shirts, and boots instead of sneakers. Despite the look, he does keep himself rather clean and when he has a mind of it can pull off the metrosexual look easily enough. Of course, he'd be the first to claim the opposite. And quite loudly.
